DR. Nikolaos Chairetakis – Anesthesiologist
Acupuncture – Pain management
Nikolaos Chairetakis is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens, Greece (2002). He has specialized in Anesthesiology at the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas” (2005-2010).
Undertaking postgraduate studies in algology (EFIC 2010-2011), he also studied acupuncture and acquired his degree from the International Postgraduate Centre for Acupuncture (2006-2008). Since 2012, he gives lectures on medical acupuncture at the educational centre “AcuScience”.
Dr. Chairetakis worked in the Medical Centre for the Research and Application of Acupuncture of the Physiatrist Miltiadis Karavis (2010-2012). Since 2010, he is an associate physician in the treatment of patients with acupuncture at the pain relief & palliative care centre in “Aretaieion” University Hospital of Athens.
Since 2011 he operates his own clinic, specializing in the relief of chronic pain and the application of acupuncture for various conditions.
He has participated in Greek and international conferences, giving speeches and making presentations on issues that deal with the treatment of chronic pain, as well as on recent developments of medical acupuncture. His articles have been published in print and electronic media.
